Ingredients:
Tallow, Jojoba Oil, Comfrey, Lemon Balm, Marshmallow Root, Calendula Flowers, Bergamot & Eucalyptus essential oils
Tallow :
Tallow, it’s the Crème de la Crème, Top notch, top tier. Tallow is made from beef suet, which is the fat surrounding the organs. It is high in vitamins A, D, and E. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids. When it is intentionally sourced, with quality in focus, the mineral content is incredibly high as well. The diet and lifestyle of the cow matters. Which is why we only source from the best. Whether we raise the cow ourselves or it is locally sourced from families I know and farms I have personally visited - you can rest assured, our quality is the best.
Comfrey :
Comfrey was used by the Greeks and Romans for respiratory ailments, to stop bleeding, and mending broken or wounded bones. It contributes to the calcium and phosphorus balance, which promotes strong bones and healthy skin. Traditionally its used for wounds, sores, ulcers, hemorrhages, lungs, and more. It contains allantonin which stimultes new cell growth.
Lemon Balm :
With its high vitamin E oil content, it is sure to moisturize and improve elasticity in the skin. It has all the “anti’s” that you want ; anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, anti-acne, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, anti-fungal.. and so much more. Yeah. It’s good stuff.
Marshmallow Root :
Has been used since ancient Greece for topical and ingested medicinal uses. It was originally used for irritated throats and intestinal tract issues. Europeans used it for colds and coughs. Native Americans used it to treat snake bites and wounds. There are many more uses for marshmallow root alone, but I think it’s safe to say this herb has been revered for its soothing and healing properties long before the modern world. And while I don’t recommend ingesting our tallow, topical use will allow the medicinal properties to seep straight into the problematic area and get to work.
Calendula :
Calendula contains high amounts of flavonoids; which are plant-based antioxidants that protect skin cells from being damaged by unstable molecules called free radicals. Calendula has been said to fight inflammation, viruses, and bacteria.
